To celebrate London Collections: Men, Savile Row recently had an afternoon of open doors, fast cars (courtesy of Maserati) and old-fashioned promotion of an old fashioned substance - wool. When the weather gets hot, wool is not, went the refrain. And we heartily support such snubbing of synthetics. 

Celebrities, fans of tailoring and lots of invitees turned out to visit the tailors and have a drink in the Burlington Arcade that evening.
